GGVL Beam Suntory Project

GGVL is proud to announce that we have made a big leap in the Indian liquor industry by entering into sublease production agreement with Beam Global Spirits and Wine (India) Pvt. Ltd, a part of Beam Suntory. As of September 7th, 2022, GGVL has started bottling a range of Beam’s IMFL brands out of our greenfield facility in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.
Beam Suntory, Inc. is an American-founded, Japanese multinational company that produces alcoholic beverages. It is a subsidiary of Suntory, based in Osaka, Japan, and is the third largest producer of distilled beverages worldwide, after Diageo and Pernod Ricard. The company's principal products include bourbon whiskey, tequila, Scotch whisky, Irish whiskey, Canadian whisky, vodka, cognac, rum, cordials, and ready-to-drink pre-mixed cocktails. At this new facility we will be producing offerings from the Oaksmith, Teachers, and Jim Beam labels for Beam Global Spirits and Wine, at a monthly capacity of 2.5 lakh cases with 3 production lines, to be increased to 5 lines soon.
In addition to building a greenfield bottling unit to Global Manufacturing Standards (GMS), GGVL also secured all agreements, and statutory approvals to enable the production of Beam’s brands at the facility.
GGVL is extremely fortunate to have achieved this milestone of producing global brands at our facilities. It has served as an impetus for us to upgrade our technical skill sets and overall quality standards. The project highlights the professionalism of our senior management team, and our competency at handling similar high calibre projects.
